Instead with an update of Google I/O 2018 – Google Assistant, search engine giant focusing on voice search results on their platform, because Voice Search Will Be the Next Big Thing of Digital Marketing. You can find other voice search product for Microsoft and Apple that is Cortana and Siri respectively. We will look at how voice search will impact SEO of any website and will examine all the great thing that came from it.

Your answer could be a shorter phrase like “Who is a president of India” or “Who is PayTm CEO” it’s being conscious of the fact that we mostly altered our search behaviour for text.
Voice search is growing tremendously and taken into considerations. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has talked about voice search where “Human language is the UI layer and developers build for conversational canvases”, a new term has been applied to any app where people can directly interact from email to chat to SMS through voice AI. So what does Google voice search means?
As per Wikipedia – “Google Voice Search or Search by Voice is a Google product that allows users to use Google Search by speaking on a mobile phone or computer, i.e. have the device search for data upon entering information on what to search into the device by speaking.”
Basically it’s a medium through which users can search by speaking on his mobile phone or computer.
How voice search is growing?
If you see, on third of all Cortana queries comes from voice as we can’t measure which query is coming from text input and which are coming from voice input into a search engine. But yes we can measure which type of queries are happening into a search engine. Because Cortana is part of the windows 10 operating system.
As per research, we found in a data where already 33% of queries are coming from voice input just three months after windows 10 launched, this is really unbelievable.
We all know that organic search results really matters a lot in terms of getting bored with customers or you are likely to get notice by those prospects who are searching for your product and services. Interestingly, a voice search query can be a big thing in digital marketing.
As graph shown below, we can notice that navigational search queries and all call functions remained the top searched of Google’s voice recognition technology. Although it seems not so valuable at this point, this actually represents an incredible opportunity for marketers hoping to drive intent traffic to mass traffic.

Just imagine how voice technology makes our life so much easier that we don’t require more efforts in typing searches our results. Now we can literally “ask” Google to help us to find stores nearby me or in my location and also check important information such as opening hours, parking availability, deals and discounts.
“Near me” searches or location are very crucially important for local businesses. Google said that “near me” searches doubled in 2018 alone, and the volume of such queries of this nature has increased 34 times since 2016 – the vast majority of which are conducted from mobile devices.
User Intent and Voice Search
Had you ever performed a Google voice search on your smart phone, the chances are pretty good that you were looking for a very specific piece of information: the nearby location or opening hours of a store, the price of a specific product, deals & discounts or whether a business offers a specific type of service etc. As such, it’s a very crucial to incorporate user intent in mind when structuring your website and your content, and one of the best ways to do this is by pre-emptively answering questions.
This might sounds logically simple, the easier you make it for Google’s algorithm or spider’s to crawl and parse your content, the more likely you are too shown top in search results. So try to put the information as simple and as relevant to the users. Like exact location, valid phone number, business working hours, content, etc.
And yes don’t try to hide the important information like images – make sure it is available as plain old HTML. As Google can and does parse image content to serve search results but implementing against Google will end up with your visibility. Try to incorporate long tail keywords to your website content as most if the intent users are likely to search long tail keywords.
Long tail keywords like – “Digital marketing agency in Jabalpur,M.P” , “Seo services in Jabalpur,M.P” , “Boutique shops near me or nearby me”.
Next, think about your actual products or services. Sure, you may know your business inside and out, but that doesn’t mean your prospective customers will. They may not even realize that they need your services. These should anticipate and pre-emptively answer, and considering user intent from the outset will make this much easier, particularly for owners of larger websites.
